Things to Avoid

In addition to "prezzies", you may immediately cease to read any blog which uses any of the following words seriously:

• For "husband": DH, hubbler
• For "child": DD/DS, kiddy, small
• For "pet": owner, any word for a juvenile animal if the animal is adult
• "OMG", "lol", etc

You may also cease to read once it becomes clear that the author is unacquainted with the use of the "shift" key, or if quotation marks are used for emphasis, or if the author demonstrates rather too much willingness to talk about how haaaard the latest (fairly simple) project is.
