Six Weird Things

1. I have gotten drunk precisely once in my life, and that wasn't very--I am not entirely certain I ever left the realm of "tipsy".  I found it a lot of work and expense to go through to feel like I was falling, so I don't really bother.  Plus I dislike alcohol.
2. I have been known to wake people and pets when I couldn't tell they were breathing as they slept.  I check compulsively.  I don't know what I think is going to have killed them between now and the last time I checked, but I check anyway.
3. I've never been any good at picking a "favorite" anything.  I have lots of films, foods, books, and so forth that I like, but picking just one as a favorite is very hard. 
4. I can wiggle my little toes without moving any of my other toes.
5. Despite never having been stung by one, I am terrified of jellyfish.
6. I make and wear clothing in a thousand-year-old style called "ju-ni hitoe" or "karaginu mo".  This often involves dying the silk myself, though I refrain (so far) from weaving it as well.
