Longstocking

I am hoping to get the red socks done today--if I don't get them at lunch, they're liable to be done this evening at gaming.  Which means I should take the second sleeve of Megan's sweater with me, lest I be caught with (gasp) nothing to do with my hands. 

Of course, this means dealing with the absolute mess Sebastian made of the various skeins of yarn before I put them somewhere he absolutely can't reach.  I love the kittens, but the adolescent rebellion is starting to wear.  It's cute how proud he is of himself as he trots off with a skein in his mouth, yeah.  Still makes it annoying to work with the stuff later.  What I need to do is make them some more nice rattley toys, and/or dig out the first one which must be under an armoire somewhere.

Anyway, I've got the beige merino/linen and the black alpaca from last year, plus two more pairs in brown and red.  Another couple of pairs would not be amiss, but they can wait till after Megan's sweater and Venezia (and possibly Kyoto, though as a spring/fall sweater Kyoto can wait) are done.
