How Not to Do It

If you ever wanted to know how not to go about constructing a conlang, the Espe-Ranto is the place to check.  It's all about how Esperanto is clumsy, linguistically ignorant, sexist, and ugly--all judgements I agree with, I note. 

What makes Esperanto especially annoying is the fact that it sucks so much and yet is just good enough that people take it seriously, thus making it tough for any other auxlang (constructed language intended to be taught as a secondary language to people with different native languages to dispense with the need for translators) to get good traction in its wake.

Me, I think I'll learn Láadan...
