Well, I'm still sick, but I think I'm getting better.  For one thing, I fell asleep at about 6:30 last night and slept till nearly 11, got up for long enough to change into a nightshirt, and went back to bed.  Also the cough seems to be damping down and the tight feeling in my chest is not nearly as bad as it was.  Looks like it was bronchitis, as I discovered that it's fairly common for that to start with a dry cough that turns productive several days in.  The big bonus, of course, is that I'm not contagious; it's a purely mechanical irritation of the lungs, so I'm not spreading anything to my coworkers.  Not that me knowing this stopps people on the bus edging away from me, but at least I can cough with a clear conscience when I have to...

But anyway, I felt vastly better this morning when I got up, though I'm still a little under the weather.
