Update

Feeling much better as of this morning--actually I even felt better last night.  I've ceased taking the Vicodin, because I really don't need pain relief that strong and I'm kind of leery of taking opiates I don't need to take; the ibuprofen (which is, granted, prescription strength) appears to be doing the job nicely.  I am still taking the Valium, as it is a muscle relaxant and I really don't need cramps and spasms right now.  This means I'm still having random moments of o hai sleepng now, but I can deal with it; I'm just not going to be doing any driving for a few more days.

I have a really impressive bruise on my bum, which is not in a place I sit on; therefore I didn't notice it until Liam saw it and pointed it out.  But having gotten a look in the mirror, I can tell you it's pretty spectacular.  This goes with the one on my left tricep, plus brush burn on my left elbow and ankle.  But other than that and some stiffness, I'm pretty normal.  Not bad for an incident that led to a trip to the ER, I must say.
