In digging for Pennsic packing I discovered I have a distressing number of projects that need to get done. And here I thought I was being so virtuous...
- Finish the blue version of the Dragonskin sweater and put it together to see how it fits; based on that, make a new version in red.
- The pair of alpaca tall socks I found in my old bag. This can wait till it's closer to winter.
- The peacock beret--I have all the beads for it, I just need to string 'em.
- Twining Ivy. Of course I need to work out the ivy/cables first.
- Another pair of warm socks for me to wear around the house, in a now-discontinued color of KnitPicks merino yarn.
- The grey small-gauge wool socks for Liam. It's getting late in the year for cotton, even if I had any.
- The second arm of the Pinwheel Jacket. This one's got no excuse; it's maybe three or four more hours' work and that's including the crochet border.
- A pair of colorwork mitts (or possibly fingerless gloves) out of the gorgeous laceweight I couldn't resist at War.
Maybe I should dig out a timepiece with a countdown function and do the 10-hours-per-project thing. Basically you make a list and work on the first thing for ten hours. At the end of that time, whether it's finished or not, you put it down and work on the next thing for ten hours, and so forth. New projects go at the end of the list. I can even use my little pink blank book for a record.
