Would you want the rows in your garden to be labelled with singulars or plurals?
Singular: there's only one kind of plant there
Plural: since there's more than one plant, the label should reflect that
Don't care: as long as I can read it, the details are unimportant

Too Much to Do

posted Monday, 12 February 2007

So I ordered the yarn for Thermal, figuring, hey, I'd be done with the second black sock by the time it arrived, right?

Yeah, that was because I was using my production speed for when I'm not being a total slacker and playing World of Warcraft or A Tale in the Desert or Emperor or SimCity instead of knitting.  So I have one black sock done, and the other's about ten rows into the foot.  Meanwhile I have the ribbing and two repeats of the Thermal body pattern done (and at 296 stitches per round, that's not a small accomplishment, lemme tell you) and haven't so much as looked at the peacock beret in almost a month.

And over the weekend I went and picked up floss and fabric for the Conan sampler, and got most of a line of text done (the "see them driven before you" line, to be precise).

I'm developing a stash, and that is something I swore I'd never do.  I've got the green yarn for another pair of knee-high socks and some nice multicolor for a pair of regular socks.  Granted, they have associated projects, but at the rate I'm going I'm not gonna get them done before it's too warm to wear knee-high alpaca stockings...
