I got done with Heian-Kyo on Saturday, and I'm pretty pleased. The sleeves are just the perfect length, and though they're full the fact that they sit back on my wrists a bit means they don't get in my way. It has a pretty extreme degree of cleavage, but it's tasteful cleavage. Still want to wear a shirt under it if I wear it to work, though. The only thing I'm not happy with is the sash, which could have been an inch or so narrower without a problem (and possibly not have gotten into the third skein of yellow thereby). We'll see what happens when I wash and block it, which I'm going to try to get to tonight. If so, there will be picture(s).
Meanwhile I have moved on to a paid of Anemoi mittens in Elann.com Baby Cashmere, Serengeti Sand and Cedar. I think I'm going to have enough, but if not Elann's shipping is such that I can get started on the second mitten in confidence that the yarn will arrive before I need it. It's deliciously soft, and I just adore the look of the pattern.
When I'm done with that I need to get back to the Peacock beret, and then I have some socks to make. So much knitting, so little time...
