And just like that, it's fall.

It's supposed to hit the upper 30s tonight, and after spending the day out I can believe it.  We had the clouds today that look like someone poured them onto a sheet of glass in the upper atmosphere, and it was mostly sunny, but it was brisk all day and now it's clear, too.  Chilly.  I wonder if I should actually turn the furnace on.

There was just a thump downstairs, and now the cats are both in the bedroom doing that cat thing that says, "Oh, no, nothing happened.  Anyway, whatever it was it wasn't us that did it.  And also, we totally meant it to happen exactly like that.  But it wasn't us and nothing happened anyway."

I love cats.
