So I took a couple of pictures of the purple baby sweater before heading off to Irwin1. The pictures even came out well. The problem is that they came out big, and I only have one meg of file space to play around with. One picture that takes up a quarter of my file space is just not happening. I must find out how to make the pictures smaller before I post them...
1: The sweater was, fortunately, very well-received and I was not forced to strangle my childhood friend. Not to imply Em's ungrateful; it's just always a little bit of a toss-up when you make something for a person who doesn't do handwork themselves, because they don't generally have much of an idea how much work it takes to do even fairly quick, simple things like a baby sweater.
If you change the size (pixels or inches) or resolution of the pictures,
that should change the size. I know how to do it in LJs interface and in
Photoshop. I can't imagine that there aren't a ton of programs that can do
it. Possibly even something as simple as Paint.
Paint tends to inflate things--welcome to Microsoft. But I'm sure I can
dig something up, it's just a matter of learning a new thing.
