Every now and then you run across a story so bizarre you have to check the URL to make sure you haven't accidentally been reading The Onion without realizing it. This is such a story. I read it, and just sort of blinked a lot. I mean, yes, clearly the man was nuts, but what kind of nuts leads to that sort of behavior? There just isn't any logic there, no matter how twisted.
Maybe he was just trying to be a performance-art glamourbomb?
