Why I Don't Call Myself a Feminist Anymore

I just...I can't.  I can't deal with this complete and utter bullshit.  I can't take the time out of my life to explain the many, varied, and manifold ways in which this list is bogus.

This is almost as bad as the woman who claimed that a women-only society would not include any abuse or meanness.  Yeah...been to a girls' school lately?

I think my favorite "feminist act" is "not having children".  Where, pray tell, is the next generation of feminsts to come from, or are we to allow the human race to become extinct?

And remember: if you ever wear makeup, if you don't have an organic garden, if you're unwilling to be either lesbian or celibate^1,2, if you shave your legs, or most importantly if you're male...you're not a feminist.  Just, you know, FYI.

1: Because of course I ought to be forced to have my "consensual, non-violent, non-commercial sex" with people I'm not attracted to, if I want to have any sex at all. 

2: Also, what about gay men?  Do they have to refrain from sex with other men if they want to be feminist?  Hooray for resisting heteronormativity.
