When the pills tell you not to operate heavy machinery, somehow you don't think that means your own body.
I've been taking the new pills in the late afternoon, after getting home from work1, but I think I'm going to have to change that plan, as so far I've lost about six hours of my free time to sleeping. Plus, in the hour or so between when I woke up from my naps and when I went to bed again, I was practically blundering into things2. This evening I think I'm going to take the pill at about 10, which will have the extra bonus of ensuring that it's not hard to go to sleep. I still don't like taking yet more pills, but I can recognize a useful side effect when it whacks me between the eyes...which this one pretty much is. Might as well make the best of it.
1: I say this as if it were a long-standing tradition, but in fact it's two nights. But I can recognize a trend when I see one.
2: Fortunately this wears off by morning and I've had no trouble waking up.
