Well. With the exception of Batik, none of my irises bloomed at all this year. I think I will not bother them, in the hopes that they'll have recovered for next year. I strongly suspect that the problem is the division Megan and I did last fall; irises have a tendency to sulk when disturbed. So I'll just have to wait, sigh.
On the upside, the blueberries produced some fruit and the strawberries are clinging grimly to life despite my best attempts to let them die of thirst while I was at War. And I have purple morning glories of my own all over my back court.
I lucked out -- both the Batik and the black ones bloomed this year. That
Batik is a hardy bugger, apparently.
Yeah, totally. It's the only one that bloomed the year I planted the first
few, too.
