Rhizome Riches

I got my box full of exchange irises from Meg Baker yesterday, and I am delighted.  There are seven or eight varieties in there, all of them named.  Of course this means I need to make them labels so I won't lose track of what's what, but that won't take long.  She got many of hers out of the garden of an old man who lived near her, so I'll have to label them appropriately; that's a legacy, right there.  Someday I too will have a big set of beds full of irises.

Of course I can't keep them all in pots.  Still need to get out to Irwin to plant, and this coming weekend is looking very bad.  Maybe I'll do an evening run after work.
