I Just Can't

Usually I'm pretty good at just writing on a set topic, but every now and then I run up against something I can't stomach.  Today that something a self-improvement book whose webpages are covered in statements like "Would you pay a dollar for a better life?"  The idea is to get everyone who follows the program into the top 2% of income¹.

Folks wanted to give me $15 for a mere 200 words.  But I can't be positive or even neutral about that kind of crap, so nothing from me today.  I just can't make myself do it.
