After-Action Report: John's Hat

Finished John Ogden's hat over the weekend.  The size of the needles I was forced to use to get gauge (er, well, sorta) caused a lot of wrist issues, but I perservered and it's done.  Here's hoping he likes it, and that it's not too big...

On the other hand, I only used most of one skein of the brown wool, and he gave me two, so let's hear it for thriftiness!  Also it looks like the pictures.

Does knitting bring you to a zen moment? Just curious as I've never knitted, and most likely never will, but curious none the less?

I'm not sure what you mean by "a Zen moment", but I don't think so. I like to knit, but it's not a spiritual experience or anything.
