Inflation

You know how they tell you that inflating your tires will help your car get better gas mileage?  I'm here to tell you that if cars work even remotely like bikes, this is completely true.  The first half of the ride, with the low pressure, was much tougher than the second half; as the engine in question, I can say that I was working much harder before I put air in the tires.

Also, it was totally gorgeous this morning, in that wispy, windy way.  Summer is beautiful, but its voluptuousness can shade over into excess; give me scudding clouds and a cool breeze any time.  When the wind turns, that's when I like it.
