So, wouldn't it be amusing to have a Galaxy Quest convention in Pittsburgh? We could have programming with explorations of Tchiepa'an warrior culture, and discussions of T/L fic, and people in funny costumes, and celebrity guests--I hear Jason Nesmith isn't doing anything much these days, since his sitcom folded--it'd be great.

Yes, I am aware that Galaxy Quest didn't actually exist, though I'd really love to live in the universe where it did; it would still be a great con. I wonder whose legal department I need to talk to.
