Singular: there's only one kind of plant there
Plural: since there's more than one plant, the label should reflect that

Steve Stirling's posting chapters of his latest Change book, The Scourge of God, on his website.  Having just read Chapter 8, I have only one thing to say: Weathertop much?  It wasn't enough that he was ringing yet another set of changes on the Matter of Britain; he's dragging in The Lord of the Rings now, too--though I'm sure Astrid would say it had been that way all along.  But heck, there were even nine of them...
