Pittsburgh is a small town.
I was just on the phone with a woman who has a shop in the North Hills that I needed directions to. She asked me where I was coming from; I said Lawrenceville. "Wow," she said, "I grew up in Lawrenceville. Where do you live?" Told her my alley. Long pause.
Turns out she grew up, and her mother still lives, about half a block from me in the same little alley. She knows the name of the folks who lived in my house before Ceil bought it.
Only in Pittsburgh does this stuff happen.
