In Her Web She Still Delights

I am reminded that the Lunar Festival (for which read "Chinese New Year") is starting today in World of Warcraft.  This makes me happy, because the Festival is probably my favorite WoW holiday.  I really like the primary method of getting the cool festival stuff, that being to visit the Elders who are positioned all around Azeroth and talk to them; they give you tokens for doing so, which you can then turn in for whatever gifts you like.  The rewards include a number of neat outfits for Chinese-esque pantsuits and dresses (and a couple of Tailoring patterns for another color that aren't available any other way).  Last year I got my night elf--my original character, and my only 70 so far--all the outfits and both the patterns, as she is a tailor and, being at the level cap, could easily enter enemy territory.  Which is another cool thing: Elders in enemy territory will still talk to you, as they're all affiliated with the druid Cenarion faction rather than the Horde or Alliance.  One wonders if there are going to be any extra things added for the Festival this year, given the existence of all sorts of new regions.  The summer Fire Festival didn't have anything, so my hopes are not high.
